are you sopposed to use budblood the first week you turn your lights to 12/12 or the 3rd week when they first start flowering. it is a flower promotor.

as long as it's a boost supplement you should be able to add it from the beginning of 12/12 till you flush...I don't see a reason why adding the boost would be a problem I've added mine from the beginning of 12/12 it seems like most advice on here is just going at half strength according to the directions on the side...
I don't have much experience with adding on certain weeks to shock it into blooming bigger but I'd say if you give it the boost at each res change that would probably be enough time between so the plant doesn't get used to it...I'm not sure why some people say to avoid using it straight through...that is the only thing I can think of is that the plant might get used to it and not bud as much

bud blood is designed to jumpstart your plants into flowering at the very beginning. It looks to me like a 0-39-25 i.e. a high dose of phosphorous and potassium. I'm don't think there's much else to it. I do know I used it (got a sample free with order of advanced 3-part) for the beginning of flower last week and I see some flowers. I'm not sure if it sped things up or not since this is a new strain for me. I don't think it's really necessary to give it throughout flowering. You'd be better off with a flower enhancer or whatever
I just put big bud in (also a sample) and I'm interested to see it in action.

i do use big bud as well but wat i wanted to know is when you use bud blood. i think you only use it for the first week of the lights going back. then once they start to flower i use big bud for week 2, 3, 4 then for 5 6 and 7 i use overdrive then week 8 flush. its just bud blood im a bit unsure off.

you can use it throughout the entire flowering cycle for flowering enhancement, just make sure you're going easy on the phosphorus with your main nutrient set and don't use multiple flower boosters at the same time. the reason advanced nutrients says budblood is only for the first couple weeks or so is because they want you to use their other products, which you probably should have done considering bud blood is one of their most expensive flowering enhancers. And duh, that much phosphorus will jumpstart a plant no matter what nutes you're using. peace and good luck with your grow.
