It depends on how far along they are, whether you want to pinch now or not. It's advisable to have at least 6 weeks of vegging left before beginning the flower cycle so the plant's tops have time to recover. Topping close to flowering time will greatly decrease your yield and leave you with a lot of little fingertip-size buds and virtually no cola's. I pinch mine when they're in the seedling stage and pinch off the top 3rd or 4th node as it shows. Then I leave them alone as far as topping/pinching goes and the plants make 3 or 4 cola's where there would have been one or 2. The fork is way down low just above the soil line which allows for easier training of each individual main branch giving you bud space for an even larger yield than if not trained!

top them at the 4th to 5th node. give them 2- 3 weeks after topping to let them beef up a bit before you put them on 12/12. blueberry does yield better when topped, i dont know about northern skunk, but if you're topping the blueberry you should probably top the northernskunk to keep their heights even.

So when is the best time to top clones? While it's a seedling, or 2-3 weeks prior to flowering??

Top clones right after they're well rooted but weeks before going into flower. Many growers don't pinch their clones so they can take them directly into the flower room after rooting...
