So last night after we had smoked a fat 1 gram blunt, we decided to go to the movies. We were in the mood for a horror flick so we watched the new movie Dead Silence. Now I was really baked so it seemed like the scariest movie i had ever seen. Its like one of those old school horror flicks that scares you mentally instead of just being gory like the majority of the new movies. It brought back memories of watching Poltergeist and Hellraiser as a kid.I felt like a kid again being so scared that i cant move. So i was watching this and my heart was racing. Its about this ventriliquist (spelling?) who haunts people with dummies and shit. Yeah it sounds dumb but its not. Anyways i wont spoil anything but if you were a kid growing up watching horror flicks from the 80's and 90's, this is something you have to see. I recommend going extremely high so you can see past the stupid plot and crappy acting and just be scared. Its very old school horror, not gory like Saw or texas chainsaw. It just straight up fucks with your mind. I even forgot i was at a cinema i felt like i was really in the movie. THe way they useed sound and flashing images got to me.

go smoke 5 or 6 bowls and watch this movie man. you will piss yourself

I LOVED Dead Silence. I went to go see the first showing Friday which was at 5:00 so no one was in the theater except for me and a friend. In one of the last scenes you can see the puppet from Saw sitting against a beam in the top of the old theater... really neat movie.

Hell yeah, I saw Texas Chainsaw Massacre while smoking like 3 good sized blunts between a couple of people and I had to keep switching positions in which I was sitting because I couldn't stop myself from shaking I was so scared. I watched while I wasn't stoned and it wasn't quite as scary.:wtf: :rasta:

I can't wait to see this movie. I remember hearing James Wan talking about working on this movie in an interview before Saw II came out. I forgot all about it, until I saw previews a few weeks ago.
