Cleaning hookah?

I have a hookah bong, i've only smoked herb out of it, 4 hitter, i had it about 6 or 7 months, it's about 8 inches tall, circular shaped like a shroom, made out of glass, metal bowl, 4 rubber hoses around it. I never cleaned it yet, i smoked ALOT out of it, i changed the water like 5 or 6 times already, but i was wondering if i should clean it or it's still good for now, and if i should clean it, how would i go about doing that?

the only way i know how to clean actual bongs is with resin cleaner you pick up froma headshop. i have yet to try my miracle ona bong (409)

i have 2 many to clean,,i just drink the water and enjoy

Does it look dirty? Is it clogged? Is there a lot of resin in the stem? If the answers are no, don't worry about it unless your board..

Anyways, I've always had excellent results soaking my pieces in rubbing alcohol (isopropyl) over night....
