HI, im about to atempt my first grow.

I will be using the NFT hydroponic tecnique, veging under 2x 55w flouros, and flowering under 250w hps lamp.

Im looking for the best strain to grow, I want a sativa high mostly(euphoric, up, trippy?) but at the same time want the weed to be potent, not too tall, and reasonably high yielding.

White widow from dutch passion seems to be the ideal compromise apart from the smell, and the long flowering time..... to be expected with sativa dominant strains.

Would you guys agree? Or would you have a better sugestion?

How many plants would you recomend for 1x 250w hps?

I think you should try Kali Mist or AK-47 from Serious Seeds. These strains have won awards for best sativa highs.

if your'e looking for somthing trippy try nevilles haze hybrid from female seeds...pretty cheap too for feminized can't say i've tried it myself but sounds good!! or you could jus' go for nevilles haze although those seeds aren't in abudance...

Cheers sss, I dont realy have that sort of money to spend, less than £50 would be ideal.

I can get WW for 45 euro, from dutch passion.
Is this a good compromise, considering the cheaper price?

Also, how many plants for the light? Probably just one...?

try female seeds white widow, 55 us for 10, reputable too. Also, ww gives more of an indica like high.

lol, I donâ??t know about fem seeds, thank you I needed a good laugh; you guys really think you know what your talking about...ITâ??S TO BAD YOUR WRONG :p mark emery (sagamartha) never sent me hermies and Iâ??ve grown over 25 (I think 27) of there fem seeds, but Iâ??ve stopped ordering fem seeds, now I induce my own. Marimbas says â??since they are treated with a chemical process, it can happen, so even the must recognized company who sells feminized may send u a couple hermies.â?� wow that is soooooo; wrong: fem seeds should never be made with chemicals :eek: . When a bud plant is turned hermie through environmental stress (not by chemicals :mad: or genetic traits; genetic hermies such as the seeds highgrade sells :eek: ) (this can be done with lighting involved stress, IE strobe lights and 45 hour days), at this point its male pollen is introduced to a plant with stable female genetics (letâ??s say third generation clones that seem to have strong genes). The resulting seeds HAVE NO hermaphrodite characteristics! NONE!

white widow is potent but a low producer. I recommend AK47 (AK48 from nirvana).
