New York City has the largest St. Patrick's Day parade in the world.
As usual in NYC on March 17, three days before Spring begins, the weather here is below freezing with snow, and large, painful chunks of frozen hail coming down - causing the Sanitation Dept. to have to work all night cleaning 5th Avenue for whomever is brave, or drunk, enough to show up at the parade later today. Many flights into LaGuardia and Kennedy airports are delayed or cancelled as well, which will stop many bands and marchers from participating. :smokin:
