I am currently reading the greatest book I've ever read thus far. It is called "Green Gold the Tree of Life, MARIJUANA IN MYTH, MAGIK & RELIGION". Writen by Chris Bennet along with Lynn & Judy Osbourn. It explains how cannabis was the number one plant drug for almost every religion in the ancient world, up untill the dark ages when its' sacraficial use was prohibited. If it wasn't the number one plant for a religion it was usually 2nd or 3rd. The majority of religion started with a cannabis initiation resulting in a powerful entheogenic affect.
